Avery Mangum is a Fashion Design Apparel Junior at the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. During her time at CCS, she has developed skills in construction, pattern making, and ideation, alongside studying business practices, sustainability, CAD design, history, and anthropology.

         The intense curriculum of the CCS fashion design program has immersed her in the fast-paced thinking needed for the fashion industry. Problem-solving, time management, and communication are some of the most important skills she has developed while managing both studio and lecture courses, blending design and business.
