Waiting for A rose

Waiting for a Rose is an exploration of femininity through heritage and the connection of body to nature. Using upcycled textiles and embellishments allowed for experimentation in fabric finishes, textures, and dying processes. Creating soft, natural pinks with fabrics dyed in wine and details painted in watercolor. The connection to natural dying processes continued through printing flower details on the Edwardian corset with real flowers and sun printing.

Sophomore Collection was the first exploration of unlimited freedom during the design process.

Over the course of four months, the collection was put together from intial mood board to a final runway.
